- Prairie View Park Playground Renovation
- This community park is the location of the Administrative offices of the Morton Grove Park District as well as the Maine Niles Association of Special Recreation (MNASR). We completed a renovation of the existing playground that would not only serve residents of the area, but provide play opportunities and challenges for the children served by MNASR.
- In addition to swing areas and several play structures, an area was designed to challenge and provide unique play opportunities for children with all abilities. An interactive sound bollard was incorporated in the design, which plays a variety of sounds when sensors in the rubber play surfacing are depressed. Play surfacing was a combination of engineered wood fiber and cast-in-place rubber surfacing, which was used to provide wheelchair access and to create a colorful theme with shapes and symbols.
