• The scope of this project consisted of the renovation of an existing playground, located in a neighborhood park setting.
• The scope of the renovation included improvements to the playground drainage and water service systems, handicapped accessible play equipment, engineered wood fiber safety surfacing, site furnishings, concrete walks and landscape plantings. The project was also influenced by the proximity of the project site to a local elementary school. While the playground was not designed based on the parameters of elementary school use, it was designed to accommodate a high degree of before and after school use.
