- Timber Trails Park
- This 5.18 acre park site is located in the new Timber Trails subdivision which is currently under development.
- When completed, the park will include many amenities and facilities sorely needed by the Western Springs Park District.
- Proposed facilities include a pavilion with restrooms and storage for park activities, summer camps and user groups; a multi-aged handicapped accessible playground; a native prairie observation area with interpretive signage; a game table area for chess and checkers play; a baseball field with a 60' base path and 210' radius outfield; a multi purpose athletic field for soccer, football and other fields games; a walk path system; a 25 space parking lot and landscape plantings.
- Many community groups and organizations will directly benefit from this park development. The park will be completed in the Fall of 2007.
